A multimeter test on the three door interlock microswitches showed that the primary safety switch had internally fused closed, failing to complete the high-voltage circuit to the magnetron when the door latched.
Safely discharged the high-voltage capacitor to prevent electrical shock.
Removed the outer microwave cabinet cover to access the switch holder assembly.
Tested all three interlock microswitches for continuity (found primary switch failed).
Unclipped the bad microswitch and installed a high-quality OEM replacement switch.
Adjusted the door latch hooks to ensure they aligned perfectly with the switch holder.
Reassembled the cabinet paneling, plugged it back in, and tested heat using a water container.
